molly LOVED the flour, can you tell? Oh and the frosting!! We tried to deliver some cookies to our neighbors cause we don't really know any of them yet, and I thought it would be a good way of getting to know some of them, but we were unsuccessful. (The people in our neighborhood kinda keep to themselves) We tried about 5 houses before giving-up and taking them to the closest ward members. One neighbor actually said "No thank you" when we tried to give him the cookies!! Seriously if you don't want them then take the cookies, say thank you, and when you close your door throw them away. Is that really too much to ask for? And for the record they were Delicious cookies.
We acted out the nativity for the 1st time and the kids really liked it. Every time we referred to Molly's baby as "Baby Jesus" she would correct us and say "NO, it's baby Maddie." The kids got new Jammies, of course, and watched some Christmas movies before bed. Molly was mad that we wouldn't let her eat Santa's cookies.

Looks like a great holiday!! Those neighbors are crazy--you make super yummy cookies. My new next door neighbor didn't come to the door when we tried to give her cookies this year--she was totally there, we could hear her and see the lights all on. Oh well, go figure. Your kids look darling all dressed up acting out the nativity--love the tie around Ethans head!
I cannot believe they said no thank you! We just have to yell to our neighbors (everyone has a gate before the front door so you can't really knock or ring a doorbell) It was a bit challenging but Carter yells loud enough that everyone we took them to heard and came to the door. We can't even speak much to our neighbors in the same language and they took our cookies...crazy neighbors! Hey more for your kids I guess...
